OVERVIEW
1. Pressure-Sustain (PS)
Maintains constant and stable upstream pressure independent of flow or downstream pressure.
Basic hydraulic double-chambered valve with standard 3-way pilot (also available
with 2-way pilot).
Normally-closed (N.C.) or normally-open (N.O.). The normally-open valve is
recommended, as it allows for quicker response to opening (surge discharge)
and opens in the event of a failure in the command system.
Stable regulation, even at low flow rates.
Precise regulation (up to 0.5m. deviation).
High regulation ratios (see table under Technical Data).
At extreme regulation rates an orifice can be installed inside the grooved coupling.
Please consult our Applications Department for advice.
Broad flow range (see table under Technical Data).
Assembling an external command water filter in addition to the existing flushing
in-line filter installed in all C-Valves is recommended.
Can be operated by hydraulic or electrical remote control.
Restrained closing: If necessary, the closing rate can be decelerated by means of
a shutter or an additional pilot that ensures that upstream pressure does not
exceed the prescribed value.
Three available pressure ranges: low-tension spring (0-20 psi / 0-1.5 bar); standard
moderate-tension spring (7-220 psi / 0.5-16 bar); high-tension spring
(20-250 psi / 1.5-24 bar).
